Indian color palette.

We all know that this country is famous for its incredibly delicious spices: curry with a spicy aroma, fennel with a clear smell of anise seeds, various "burning" spices based on cloves, cumin, cardamom, bay leaves, ginger and cinnamon. Moreover, each of the seasonings voiced,  , has its own unique, bright aroma, and so, the interior design in the Indian style is somewhat reminiscent of a “taste festival”, only in a different incarnation - visual, and this is really so, because in its color scheme, you can clearly trace the mixture of the above aromas! Walls.

The surface of the walls can be covered with plain paint, warm undertones, in addition, you can use vinyl wallpaper with a thematic ornament on the surface, as well as textile wallpaper with imitation of expensive fabrics. It should be noted that in Indian design, one can often observe the use of wooden cladding, with intricate patterns or ornate carvings. 

Ceiling.

In such a room it would be appropriate to look rich in color, a stretch ceiling with photo printing that imitates the fabric of the canopy (canopy), but if for some reason the stretch ceiling does not fit, you can use simple ceiling wallpaper for painting. In addition, you can go the easier way and try to find suitable photo wallpapers with a thematic landscape. But be that as it may, even simple plain wallpaper (peach, amber, pink) will look great. Saturation of the room will give bright textiles on the windows and beds.The bed can be made from either carved wood or wrought iron. However, other pieces of furniture can be purchased in the same version. Separately, I would like to note the cabinet, the fact is that the doors of themed Indian cabinets are made according to the type of window shutters, i.e. they are just as massive, decorated with carved elements and drawn patterns.  An additional decoration of such a bedroom can be a sliding screen, behind which an ironing board or desktop will be perfectly hidden. In order for the screen to most successfully fit into the overall idea, it should be decorated with hand-painted patterns, by applying thematic patterns, or by purchasing special sticker stickers. The floor must necessarily be covered with a soft, outwardly attractive carpet, for example, with the image of bayaderes (dancers at temples). You can decorate the room with table lamps with wrought iron bases and lampshades covered with patterns or phrases in Hindi (Ind. language). In addition, you can buy colorful, but harmonious themed bed linen, bedspreads and pillows. Hang several paintings in heavy wooden frames on the walls. Living room. 

The main element of the living room is a sofa, the upholstery of which can be made of leather, velor or suede. Sofas on wooden carved legs or with wooden drawers, again decorated with wood carvings, look great. Traditionally, these sofas can accommodate an incredible amount of colorful pillows. In the same style as the sofa, you should pick up a few chairs, by the way, amazingly comfortable and fashionable - wicker chairs look wonderful in such interiors. In the center of the room, a generally accepted coffee table should be installed, which can be made of simple wood, complemented by carvings and forging elements, and also covered with several layers of varnish. In addition, from furniture, there must be several open shelving and several closed ones, closed doors must be decorated with carvings or drawn elements. 

The Indian interior is distinguished by skillful decor, so in the decorated rooms you can find various copper decorations: floor vases, jugs, candy bowls, etc. There should also be paintings, portraits, glass lamps, panels with written phrases in Sanskrit, wind music that scares away evil spirits, photo frames, a miniature copy of the Taj Mahal, caskets, ceramic figurines of sacred animals, magnificent floor carpets, elegant curtains or blinds on the windows . Bathroom.

If the bathroom is small in size, then the general background should be created in a light color, the color of sand, plain beige, as well as white, complemented by amber or gold tones, are perfect. To add a theme to the image, a wall mosaic panel depicting an elephant or a sacred cow (Mother Goddess), which symbolizes wealth and happiness, will help. In addition, wooden paintings with images of petroglyphs can be placed on the walls. The floor can be covered with ceramic tiles a tone darker than the walls, as for plumbing, a round bath will look incredibly great in such a room, but this does not mean at all that traditional elongated baths will not be appropriate. The color of sanitary ware can vary: gray, white or cream. The screen under the bathroom and the nightstand under the sink should be wooden, preferably trellised. And all personal care accessories can be stored in a wicker basket provided for this purpose. And if there is a window in the room, then you can  buy bamboo blinds with scorched patterns.
