Water treatment

Water supply of a country house - water treatment and water treatment

In the vast majority of suburban settlements, centralized water supply is completely absent. But even where it is, the water supply is often fraught with difficulties, such as insufficient pressure, poor quality of the supplied water, and frequent breakdowns.

If you have your own house, you have the opportunity to become independent from centralized water supply and guarantee yourself no problems with dirty tap water, sudden breakdowns of the route and preventive days, due to which the mansion remains without a drop of moisture for an indefinite time. Having at least a small private yard, you can organize individual water supply for your own country house. And it is not as difficult and expensive as it might seem. All work is carried out in 4 stages.

Stage 1. Well drilling

Drilling a well, since this type of water intake is considered optimal for an individual household, providing clean water in sufficient quantities, and practically without taking up space in the yard. must be buried in the ground so that it does not freeze through in winter.

Stage 2. Well construction

Well construction and preparation for operation.

Stage 3. Installation of the pump

Installation of a water intake pump and automation. A properly assembled system will work just like a city water supply, providing a controlled flow of water in automatic mode.

A kind of top of the well, also located underground, is a caisson. This is a hermetic structure into which water intake is brought from the house. The pipe enters below the freezing level of the soil to ensure a stable temperature of the intake water. From above, the caisson is equipped with an inspection hatch.

A submersible pump is lowered into the well below the water level. A water intake pipe runs from it through the caisson, most often to the basement or other room where the equipment will be placed. The pipe must be buried in the ground so that it does not freeze in winter. Laying in a trench 1.8 m deep (in the Ufimsky district) will be a sufficient precautionary measure.

In the room, the pipe is connected to the automation unit and the hydraulic accumulator. The latter is needed to maintain a stable water pressure in the system and ensure the operability of the machine, which reacts to a pressure drop, starts and turns off the pump if necessary. Further, pipes are already being laid to devices that consume water.

As for the selection of equipment, pumps with a capacity of 1-3 m3 / h are most common, although here it is better to buy more powerful equipment in order to minimize the number of cycles when it operates at full capacity. The most popular are accumulators with a capacity of 50, 80 and 100 liters. Here, the larger the volume, the less often the pump will turn on, and the longer it will last.

Stage 4. Water treatment

The choice of the type of water purification depends on the well. In sand wells, a submersible filter is mandatory, which is mounted at the pump inlet and protects it from suspensions in the water. In artesian wells, the water is cleaner, so here you can limit yourself to a built-in filter located in the caisson or next to the accumulator.
